Andrey Mikidenko
I build digital twins of businesses, so owners and AI can both see what is really going on.
Founder of MarsOne.ai. Before software, I ran waste sorting, bioconversion and recycling operations, where every lost dollar was visible on the floor. Now I make it visible in the data.
Who I am
I am a founder who started with physical things: trucks, sorting lines, larvae that turn organic waste into protein and fertilizer, buyers for recycled material. That work taught me how a business actually runs, and how often decisions are made on feeling because the numbers come too late.
Today I live in California and build MarsOne.ai on my own, with AI as my engineering team. I work with owners and operators of small and mid-sized businesses who want a clear picture of their company and a short list of what to fix first.
I keep one rule in everything I publish: a number is either verified, estimated or inferred, and it says which.
The path
Circular economy operations in Russia
Built and ran waste sorting, black soldier fly bioconversion and recycling. Equipment, logistics, people, suppliers and buyers, all hands-on.
The lesson that changed how I build
Production without sales channels is a trap. Demand comes first, then capacity. Today every product I build starts by giving people something useful before asking for anything.
Moving to the United States
Relocated to California and turned to the problem I kept seeing in every business: owners flying blind between month-end reports.
MarsOne.ai
An AI platform that builds a digital twin of a business, simulates decisions before they are made, and makes the business readable to AI models.
What I do now
MarsOne.ai adapts a business to the reality of AI. It does three things.
- Builds the twinA live model of the business from internal data and public sources: costs, customers, marketing, reputation.
- Runs what-if scenariosChange price, budget or headcount on the model first and see the range of likely outcomes before risking the real business.
- Makes you readable to AIShows how ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and AI search see your site, and fixes what blocks them. Visibility, not promised traffic.

About Andrey
Who is Andrey Mikidenko?
Andrey Mikidenko is the founder of MarsOne.ai, an AI platform that builds a digital twin of a small or mid-sized business. Before AI, he built and ran physical operations in Russia: waste sorting, black soldier fly bioconversion and recycling. He now lives and works in California.
What does Andrey do now?
He builds MarsOne.ai full time. The platform turns a business's data into a live model, runs what-if simulations on it, and shows how AI models see the business. The entry point is a free 90-second audit.
What did he do before AI?
He worked hands-on in the circular economy in Russia: sorting waste, converting organic waste with black soldier fly larvae, and running recycling operations. That meant equipment, logistics, people, suppliers and buyers, and every cost visible on the floor.
Why did he move from recycling to AI?
Running physical operations showed him how many decisions get made on gut feeling because the numbers arrive too late or not at all. MarsOne.ai is the tool he wanted then: a live picture of the business and a clear list of what to fix first.
What is the main lesson from building physical businesses?
Building production before building sales channels is a trap. Demand comes first. That is why MarsOne.ai starts with a free audit that shows owners something useful before asking them to commit to anything.
Where is Andrey based?
In California, USA.
Who does Andrey work with?
Owners, founders and operators of small and mid-sized businesses, including teams that grow by acquiring other companies and need to see all their businesses in one picture.
How does Andrey build products?
As a solo founder working with AI-assisted engineering: LLM pipelines, data collection pipelines and a modern database stack. One person with the right tools can now ship what used to take a team, and MarsOne.ai helps business owners do the same.
Why is the company called MarsOne?
The name comes from a long-term belief that people need better infrastructure for life, from the materials economy to how decisions get made. MarsOne.ai is the part of that vision that helps businesses work today.
How can I contact Andrey?

MarsOne.ai and the free audit
What is MarsOne.ai?
MarsOne.ai is an AI platform for small and mid-sized businesses. It builds a digital twin of the business from internal and external data, runs what-if simulations, and makes the business readable to AI models. AI agents then handle routine work that the twin shows is costing money.
Who is MarsOne.ai for?
Owners and operators of small and mid-sized businesses who want to see where profit is lost, decide on numbers instead of feeling, and get their business ready for a world where customers ask AI for recommendations.
Is there a free audit?
Yes. MarsOne.ai offers a free audit that takes about 90 seconds. You enter your website domain and get results right away.
What does the free 90-second audit show?
It shows how AI models see your website and which errors get in the way, plus a broad picture of the business across expenses, customer acquisition and customer retention. It ends with specific recommendations on what to fix first.
What do I need to start the audit?
Only your business website domain. No integrations, files or passwords are needed for the first scan.
Do I need to sign up?
Not to start the scan. Registration comes after the audit, if you want to save the results and go deeper into the platform.
What happens after the audit?
You can register, connect more data and build the full digital twin. From there you can run what-if scenarios and switch on AI agents for routine tasks.
How much does MarsOne.ai cost?
The audit is free. Plan pricing is shown inside the platform after registration.
How is MarsOne.ai different from a dashboard?
A dashboard shows numbers and leaves the thinking to you. MarsOne.ai explains where money is lost, simulates what happens if you change something, and recommends what to do next.
How is it different from hiring a consultant?
A consultant gives you a snapshot that ages the day it is delivered. A digital twin keeps updating from your data, so the picture stays current and you can test new questions at any time.
Will MarsOne.ai bring me traffic from ChatGPT or other AI?
No one can honestly promise that. MarsOne.ai makes your business visible and understandable to AI models and fixes what blocks them. Whether an assistant recommends you also depends on your offer, reputation and competition.
How does MarsOne.ai handle numbers it is not sure about?
Every figure is labeled as verified, estimated or inferred, so you always know what is a fact from your data and what is a model's best guess.
Digital twin
What is a digital twin of a business?
A live model of your business built from real data: sales, costs, customers, marketing and your public presence. It mirrors how the business works today and updates as the data changes.
Where does the term digital twin come from?
From engineering and manufacturing, where virtual copies of machines and systems are used to test changes safely before touching the real thing. The same idea now applies to a whole business.
What data goes into a business digital twin?
Internal data such as sales, expenses, CRM and marketing results, and external data such as your website, online reviews, market and competitors. The more you connect, the sharper the twin.
How is a digital twin different from a spreadsheet model?
A spreadsheet is built by hand once and goes stale. A twin pulls data automatically, connects the parts of the business to each other, and can run thousands of scenarios instead of one.
What is a what-if simulation?
A test run on the twin instead of on the real business. You change one thing, such as price, ad budget or headcount, and see the likely effect on revenue, margin and cash, including a range of possible outcomes.
What questions can a digital twin answer?
For example: what happens to margin if we raise prices 5 percent, which marketing channel to cut first, how many customers we lose if response time doubles, or what cash looks like in six months at the current pace.
How accurate is a digital twin?
As accurate as the data behind it. That is why MarsOne.ai labels every number as verified, estimated or inferred, and shows ranges instead of false precision.
How long does it take to build a digital twin?
A first picture from public data appears in about 90 seconds through the free audit. The full twin grows as you connect internal data.
Is a digital twin only for large companies?
No. Large companies built twins with big teams and budgets. AI now makes the same approach affordable for a business with five or fifty employees.
Does a digital twin replace my team?
No. It takes over reporting, monitoring and routine analysis so your people spend time on customers, sales and decisions.
What happens to my data?
Data you connect is used to build and update your digital twin. See the privacy policy on marsone.ai for how it is stored and protected.
AI for small and mid-sized businesses
Why should a small business care about AI now?
Because competitors who use AI answer leads faster, spend marketing money more precisely and run with fewer manual hours. And customers increasingly ask AI assistants which business to choose.
Where does AI help a small business first?
Usually in four places: responding to new leads quickly, replacing manual reporting, finding marketing spend that brings no customers, and reminding the team about follow-ups and repeat sales.
What is an AI agent?
Software that does a task end to end on its own: watches for a trigger, makes a decision within rules you set, and takes an action, such as drafting a proposal or flagging a customer who stopped buying.
What is the difference between a chatbot and an AI agent?
A chatbot answers when asked. An agent acts on its own when something happens, and works across your tools, not just inside a chat window.
Will AI replace employees in small businesses?
It replaces tasks, not whole roles. The usual result is that the same team handles more customers and spends less time on reports and copy-paste work.
Where do small businesses lose money without noticing?
Ad campaigns that bring no customers, software subscriptions nobody uses, slow replies to new leads, customers who quietly stop buying, and purchasing done in a rush at bad prices.
How can a small business start with AI on a small budget?
Start with one measurable problem, such as lead response time or wasted ad spend. Measure the baseline, add one tool, and compare after a month. A free audit is a zero-cost first step.
What are common mistakes when adopting AI?
Buying tools before knowing the problem, automating a broken process, trusting numbers nobody checked, and expecting results without measuring where you started.
What does data-driven mean for a small business?
Making decisions on current numbers instead of habit. McKinsey Global Institute research from 2016 found data-driven organizations were 23 times more likely to acquire customers, 6 times more likely to retain them and 19 times more likely to be profitable.
Do I need perfect data before using AI?
No. Start with what you have. A good system tells you which numbers are solid and which are estimates, and shows what data would improve the picture.
How do I know if AI is actually helping?
Write down the numbers before you start: response time, cost per customer, repeat purchase rate, hours spent on reports. Compare them after 30 and 90 days.
Is it safe to give AI tools my business data?
It depends on the tool. Check who can access the data, whether it is encrypted, whether it is used to train outside models, and whether you can delete it.
Being visible to AI
What does a business ready for machines mean?
A business whose website, data and public facts are clear enough for AI models to read, understand and trust. It is the next step after being findable in search.
Why does it matter how AI models see my business?
More people ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI answers what to buy and whom to hire. If those systems cannot read your business clearly, you are absent from the answer.
How do AI assistants decide what to recommend?
They work from what they can read and cross-check: your website content, structured data, consistent facts across sources, reviews and mentions elsewhere. Claims they cannot verify carry little weight.
What is structured data or schema.org markup?
Code on your website that states facts in a machine-readable form: who you are, what you sell, prices, location, FAQs. It helps search engines and AI systems understand the page without guessing.
What is llms.txt?
A proposed plain-text file at the root of a website that summarizes the site for AI models. It is not an official standard and not every AI system reads it, but it is a cheap way to state your key facts clearly.
What makes AI models distrust a business?
Big claims with no proof, missing prices or contact details, facts that differ between your site and other sources, and no outside mentions or reviews.
What website errors hide a business from AI?
Content that only loads through JavaScript, no structured data, crawlers blocked in robots.txt, vague copy that never says what you do and for whom, and pages that contradict each other.
Can anyone guarantee AI will recommend my business?
No. Anyone who guarantees it is overselling. What can be done is removing what blocks AI from understanding you and making your strongest facts easy to verify.
How can I check how AI sees my website?
Run the free 90-second audit at marsone.ai. It shows how AI models read your site and which errors get in the way.
What are the first three things to fix for AI visibility?
State plainly what you do, for whom and where. Add structured data with your real facts. Make sure your name, contacts and offer match everywhere they appear online.
No questions match that search. Try a shorter word, or pick a topic above.
